Terms of Use
The plain-English rules for using Genbox.
1. Who we are
Genbox (“Genbox”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a free online toolbox for raster and vector graphics, operated by Machine Mind Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 11731290, with its registered office at 35 Follager Road, Rugby, United Kingdom.

2. These terms
By using Genbox (the website and its tools) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. Together with our Privacy Policy, this is the whole agreement between you and us about using Genbox.
3. The service
Genbox is provided free of charge and “as is” and “as available”. We do not charge you anything for it.
We may add, change, limit, suspend or remove any tool (or the whole service) at any time, without notice. To keep Genbox fast and fair for everyone we apply limits, such as a maximum upload size and a rate limit on how often you can run a tool.
4. Your use of Genbox
Genbox is for your own use. In particular:
- You must be 18 or older. Genbox is meant for adults, and it should not be used by children or young people.
- Only upload content you have the right to use. You are responsible for your files and for making sure you have permission to process them.
- Do not use Genbox for anything unlawful, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to create or upload anything illegal, harmful or abusive.
- Do not try to break, overload or misuse the service, or to get around the rate limits.
- No commercial licence. Genbox is offered as a free service for your own (non-commercial) use. You may not resell it, offer it - or its output - as part of a paid product or service, or otherwise use it commercially, without our prior written permission. If you would like a commercial licence, contact us.
- Your content stays yours. You keep any rights you have in the files you upload and in the results you create with Genbox. We do not claim ownership of your files or your results.
5. AI-generated content
Some tools use AI to create images from a text prompt. AI output is unpredictable: it can be inaccurate, unexpected, or resemble other material by coincidence. You are responsible for reviewing results and for how you use them, and you must not use the tools to create unlawful content.
6. No warranty
Genbox is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied - including (but not limited to) fitness for a particular purpose, quality, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use it at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Machine Mind Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits, business or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Genbox. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Paid API (in the future)
We may in the future offer a paid API with higher or no limits. If and when we do, separate terms will apply to it. The free service described here stays as it is.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top will change, and the current version always applies to your use. If you keep using Genbox after a change, you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
